AOIT Art One Final Part Three

Success

I believed that this is my most successful piece of art. I believe this because I used many different tools in Photoshop that I had never used before to accomplish this task. Also because I collaborated throughout this entire piece to get it done such as asking Mr Sands how I could most easily get each part of this work done and he would tell me and show me how I could do it and get it done.

Do Over
If i was to redo any project it would be this one because i would have like do pick a different theme like at a hockey rink or might have liked to clean up the edges a bit, you can tell where it doesn't perfectly fit. Also i thought this project was a very fun project to work on and would be fun to try and redo.

AOIT Art Final Part Two

I Developed My Art Making Skills
Did you learn new techniques or processes as part of the work for this project?
Yes when I finished the background grass and mountains I wasn't sure what to do so I decided to do some trees so Mr Sands showed me how to do them and even though I was very worried about messing up and this being my first time doing trees I did them and learned how to make them better and good as I went on.
Did you gain skill with familiar materials?

Yes at first  i wasn't sure  what brushes and tools to use at what parts but as i went on i became familiar with the different brushes and tools and figured out what each of them do and what each can do.

AOIT Art Final Part One

Art played a giant role in helping us create this piece of Technology art. First of all we had to pick the right color combinations and picture to digitize so that we could create the image map. In this case we chose morgan freeman and we chose yellow, green, and blue colors because they are noticeably different but still look good together.
Technology was also a major part. Without technology we would not have been able to obtain the picture of Morgan Freeman that we had used and also we used technology to make the image map that helped us see where to place each individual sticky note. We made this map by first making the image a mosaic image so it looked pixelated and adjusted the color map so that it looked different colors that were the same colors as standard sticky notes. Also technology allowed us to print out the image maps we needed to create the sticky note piece.
art of apex
In this piece of art technology plays a huge role in the creation. First of all we needed the camera to take the photo to capture the art and we needed the advancement of the camera to allow us to slow down the shutter time for the camera to let in more light and allow this piece of art to take place.

Monster

For our monster project, a bunch of first graders drew what in their mind, a monster was. We took those drawings and made 3d sculptures and colored them, next we made a toy box specifically for that monster, shrink wrapped it and then sent them back to the kids to play with.

Anamorphosis

For our current project in art we are doing anamorphosis. These are pictures that we extended the picture length wise then warped it to make it look like it was real. In this case, I did the colorado avalanche logo. Because it looks 3D we took them and then gridded it so we could draw it in sections. After this we drew it on the pavement with chalk and finally we walked away so it looked 3D.

The answers to the questions are here:
1- DPI is dots per inch meaning amount of dots fit into an inch. For a more clear picture you will want a higher DPI opposed to a lower one.
2- An aperture is the space in which light passes through in a camera and the stop settings are the different amounts of light let into the camera.
3- Shutter speed is how fast or slow the camera will take a picture whether you want it instantaneously or the lens to take in more light and record more movement.
4- The lower the iso number, the less sensetive to light it is and the higher the number means it would be more sensitive to light.

Character Project

The second project I did in art was create a picture of an animated character in the real world and add myself into the picture.

Angry Pancakes

Our assignment was to take a picture of a stack of pancakes and a picture of a fish's jaws and mash them up into one picture of a stack of angry pancakes. We did this by using the liquify tool on the pancakes to make a hole in the pancakes then just add the cropped jaws in the hole.
